The day people finally return from the Wastes, Beat will head into Elias' arcade. He's pretty sure Elias knows what's out there, considering the chatter going on over the network from people returning, plus the Haftesal scientists. The question he'll ask if it will help Elias any if they can get some sort of technology set up out in the wastes. The Scientists seem to be allowing expeditions out, and while Beat's not a brainer and can't do it on his own, he's good at hauling/using equipment (half in part of learning as he went with the Tank thing), and if he gets up enough people, they might be able to set up something like a radio tower or a phone tower or something that will give Elias eyes or ears out there.
