Throughout Connie's speech, the robot sits silently. Patiently. It doesn't move until she's silent for at least five seconds, as though it doesn't want to interrupt. When she finishes, the robot's eyes flicker and turn green. It doesn't chirp this time. This is not a cheerful conversation.

I know why you're angry with me connie
and I don't blame you
I'd be angry with me too
I hate that reira is miserable
it's not her fault those people got hurt

The eyes flicker again. Something in the robot -- something deep inside -- lets out a low crackle.
