This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[Despite his reluctance to do Priest-like things in public these days, Marco still visits Elias' room frequently, talking to him about this and that, verbally or through the mental network connection. And while lately he hasn't had much of anything specific to bring up - he just likes spending time with Elias, really, - today, there is something:]

So, this is a bit out of the blue, but someone mentioned something curious.
They said they fell asleep and dreamed of home, but the dream felt like it lasted for three whole years.
What's more, someone else from their world fell asleep at the same time and also had a three-year-long dream that matched up with theirs perfectly.
That wasn't just a dream, was it?

[He's talking about Elsa, of course, but he promised he wouldn't mention the specifics. Although... Since she posted about it on the network, wouldn't Elias know it was her anyway...?

More importantly, he can't help wondering if they can make use of this information, somehow.]

[The machines surrounding Elias' body whir thoughtfully. It doesn't take him very long to answer, however, because Marco is right: he already knows the details.]

and it's not the first time something like this has happened

Maybe there's a way we can take advantage of that.
If we learn to detect the best access points, the power requirements won't be as high, will they?

[Every time people ask him if they've made any progress on the portal - or, in the case of the newer arrivals, if there's any way to go home - the answer is the same: we're working on it; well there's the matter of a power source you see; there's a major bottleneck, you understand.

Unless they find a way to power this machine that doesn't require stealing from the Fog God, this can't be done in a sustainable manner. And where in the world are they going to find that?]
