This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[On the one hand that's not quite where her concern was- the dilemma was more 'if I had never lied, I wouldn't have survived! but lying is bad??'

But on the other Elias as usual, has a bit of a Way of making Reira feel just a bit better, even if it's through the static filling her head while she's sitting beside his cables and body.

At the very least it makes for a nice distraction while settling back down into 'right, lies are bad, Don't Do It'.]

It was supposed to help catch them, [she says after a bit of sniffing and sitting, mostly just recovering from the still ever present shock.] Sneaking in...

...How did they even make those machines? ...if they hadn't, we could have done so much...

[If Elias is intentionally ignoring her concerns, he doesn't show it. His static presence remains the same. His voice is unchanged.

After a moment, Reira will feel a sensation on her shoulder: an invisible static hand steadying her against the storm. ]

they thought by now, they wouldn't need to be afraid of monsters eating them
and when people are scared and frustrated
they do bad things

they stay awake all night and plan

[Ah- well, it's far less ignored now, isn't it. It's all right there after all.

Reira leans against the hand, feeling very much the way she did when her elder brother would do the same. She can't really speak out against what Elias is saying. Didn't that happen when she went after Aunamee after all? It ate and ate and ate away and finally she said 'is it okay to hurt him back?'

And while she got permission it was apparently a death far worse than she'd intended, which sort of suited the matter of revenge she supposed.

Everything just gets so much bigger and worse than you ever think it will.

And yet...]

...I want to try again...

...Not the same way, [She corrects.] ...But they hurt so many people. They took everyone's parts, and made them into those things to sell...

...I hope they never make me lie again. If something doesn't make me, I never will, [she promises, closing her eyes for a minute.]

...but I'm going to try again one day, to help everyone I think.
