This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[He stands there with all three sets of arms crossed, staring at nothing in particular. He's not really expecting an answer. Who's to say this "Elias" even exists?]

My name is Doctor Ivo Robotnik, and I have a proposal. Clearly, you need help getting rid of what's keeping us here. Meanwhile, this place is severely backwards and what passes for "advanced technology" here is embarrassing. I am, to say the least, the leading expert in all things even remotely machine-related where I come from.

I'd like to lend my knowledge and skills to your cause so I can get back to where I came from and finish what I started. Is this acceptable to you?

[Robotnik has found himself inside the Arcade, the glitzy, dazzling domain on the Fourth. All around him, arcade games beep and trill, their noises growing softer as he speaks as though listening to him.

When he finishes speaking, a boy's voice emerges from the closest arcade machine. The screen is cloaked with static, and it pulses in time with his voice.]

[As he speaks, Robotnik may see courier font scrolling across his mind's eye.]

[The static clears, revealing two hands shaking. One of the hands is a pixilated approximation of Dr. Robotnik's -- the other is smaller. A child's hand.]

[Robotnik's attention snaps to the arcade machine, an eyebrow raising. It's not really the kind of voice one expects to hear going into these situations, that's for sure. The text in his head is a nice touch, too.]

"Very good" is an understatement, and I'm sure you're well aware of that too. But great. I'm looking forward to getting things done.

[And look, they can shake on it without actually having to shake hands. Very clever.]

I look forward to terminating our unpleasant adversary with extreme prejudice. Or, you know, kicking her in the shins, whatever needs to be done here.
