This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread. It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[All right, so Harley learned her lesson on big set up presentations. That's fine. This time, she sits in front of the old-timey radio on the bare floor of her new apartment in Djavulentstad. Boxes are scattered around, and there's a mattress on the floor in the corner. She's still getting settled.

One corner of the empty room is netted off; it's the only way she's found to keep Barnaby from nibbling on all the boxes. If this god doesn't want the goat, she doesn't know what she's going to do with him.]

Uh- [This feels silly. Even sillier than Harley normally goes for.] Mr. Fourth? Elias? [She reaches to fiddle with the knob on the radio, settling it on some nice, empty static.] Breaker, breaker- is this thing on? Anyone there? ... Over?

[The Fog God, with her wind and- well- fog- was weird, but sort of what you'd expect from someone calling themselves a god. But this is out-and-out creepy crawly; the hair stands up on the back of her neck. Radios just shouldn't do that.

She knows enough to recognize Morse code- everyone at Arkham knew how to tap out SOS; but the rest of the message is lost on her. Maybe Wilson will know.]

You did? I mean- you know how I am? Over.

Oh woah now, hey- [She gives a bit of an awkward laugh.] That's, uh- if you've been reading the Network I get how you'd get that impression, but uh- some of those posts I wasn't so much myself for, you know? Don't get me wrong, I do help people, I just- you know- usually charge. And the therapy thing ain't so much my bag, these days.

[It feels weird, looming over the radio; Harley lays down on her stomach so her eyes are at level with it, bare feet up and kicking idly.]

But we do got at least one thing in common- this place ain't right. And from what I've heard, we probably agree on the Why of it, too. Can, uh- can she hear us? You know- Her? And hey, are you for real a kid? Cause I've got some ideas, but uh- they may be rated PG-13, at the very least.

Brother, you can yodel that off a mountain. I been here like three months, it feels like a year.

['Old enough,' in Harley's experience, usually means 'old enough to have a fake id to get into this bar.' But- anyone going your way, right?]

Well... okay, I don't have any ideas yet. But I been talking to some people, and there are options to explore. [Leaning closer to the radio, her voice lowers conspiratorially.] I've met people who call themselves gods before- they always got a weak point. We just got to make it our business to find hers, if you're picking up what I'm putting down.

And if we were to do that- would you be in? Anything you could do to help us out? If there's somewhere we could talk where you know she couldn't overhear us, that'd be one hell of a start.
