This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[ After Reira brought Yuzu to the arcade to use the feeding room, Reira had also taken her up to her Priest Suite to try and rest from the ordeal of feeding again with some chocolate chip cookies.

It was... nice.

There are multiple screens in the room, but she's not really paying attention to any of them. Apparently Reira had to leave for a moment, which left her alone inside the suite.

She knows what the last 'Yuzu' did while following the Fourth... she's honestly not sure if she should do the same and follow the Fourth again. At the same time, however, she's tired of just sitting around.

In any case, there's a TV nearby, and she's in the arcade. She may not have come here specifically to talk to Elias... but Reira has brought her here. ]

[The TV crackles with white noise and static. Crrracckck crrcrrcrckckckk crrrrck. A shadow peers out from the screen, and if Yuzu looks closely she might make out the silhouette of a boy fuzzing in and out of that obscurity.

In another few blinks the silhouette disappears, and instead, a small adolescent voice whispers through the dying static.]

hello yuzu
ive been waiting for you
im glad youve come
reira is a good friend
and i trust who she brings to see me

[The shape reappears on the screen again, a shadow pressed up against the glass. The facial features are indistinct, but it feels like he's watching.]

i need your help
to save everyone from the fog
will you stay with me for awhile?

[ Yuzu's eyes widen as the screen turns on, and the boy appears. She supposes that it makes sense, actually... she was right here in the arcade, and the last Yuzu was a Fourth Follower... of course now she was in contact with him. ]

Save everyone... are you Elias...?

[ It's a pointless question, of course he is. Who else could be speaking to her through a TV? Still, she feels the urge to ask. ]

[The screen flickers, and Yuzu will glimpse a faded grayscale scene of the winter snow melting away and the flowers coming into bloom. Spring is coming. Hope and rebirth are always in the spring, aren't they?

They can begin again. The Fourth God is forgiving to his friends.]

[ Yuzu blinks, she didn't think she would be making a decision now of all times.

But... getting this world out of her hands... that's what Yuzu wants. She doesn't want to just... sit around and do nothing, she wants to face the Fog God and take control away from her... and maybe then everyone can finally go home.

She may not make any lasting impacts, and she may still end up stuck here for a long time, but... at least she would be fighting, right? ]

I... heard that the last 'me' did some bad things when she was friends with you.

[ She pauses. ]

But... I won't let that happen again. I don't want to just... sit around and do nothing, just hoping that one day I'll be able to go home.

If... if the Fog God is what's keeping us here...

[ She takes a deep breath. Is this the right decision? What if she regrets this later? What if she does bad things like the previous Yuzu? ]

...then I'm with you.

[ She makes her decision. ]

[SHHHHHHSHHshHHcccrrakkkckckkk goes the static. The next time she glances at the coffee table in front of her, Yuzu will find a keycard to the arcade. That one is all hers, and it feels warm and freshly-printed in her hand.]

[Something glows, and Yuzu will recognize it's coming from inside her like a shock emanating from her heart. Whatever boons or modifications she accepts as a follower for the Fourth will appear on her body the moment she steps back out of Elias's haven and into the world.]

[The TV screen abruptly cuts out. All is silent. Elias is gone, even if his presence lingers as electric charges in the air.]
