This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[Makoto isn't entirely sure on what to do with this, really. She's never actually bothered to contact a God in her years of being in Ryslig, but you know what. Now's about time. She's been told that typing is probably a good way to talk to Elias, though, if she needs to. Maybe? Worth a shot.]

[The moment Makoto hits the enter key, the screen crackles with blue and gray static. Pixelated visual artifacts infect the corners. The virus takes hold, and a greeting blinks back at her, typed out one letter at a time.]

[The screen beep blip boops, Windows Shutdown Noise and all. But still, it crackles, fizzles, and ponders, and a reply zips to life all too quickly.]

[The lights abruptly cut out, and a crackling rises up from the nearest speaker. A voice emerges in the pleas of an adolescent boy, punctuated with garbled static.]

[She actually struggles for a moment, mostly because the lights cutting out and the whole crackling thing just scared her so badly she turned into a horse, considering she was already on edge from talking to him. It's a few minutes before she responds as she sorts herself out.]

but if you want to avoid something like this in the future maybe you should consider guidelines
like
"hey don't kill people!"
and then they won't kill people
at least not for you
or in the name of you
don't just trust them to not do it!

and maybe don't do what you did to kelpies because i really don't like being a horse either
and you scared me
idk if you KNEW i was a kelpie but don't do that again

[The voice crackles out, leaving behind a piercing tinnitus. Lights brighten, the screen blinks back to a blank text document, and the speakers snap off. Elias is gone.]
