This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[So after the bombings, Makoto just straight up excuses herself from dance practice with one of the new groups she's producing and uses her keycard to enter.]

Elias, are you okay!?

[The Arcade is quiet, but warm. Inviting. Makoto isn't the only friend of Elias's to check up on him after the explosions. He's been counting them off, one by one, ready to welcome them inside and give them a warm static embrace. The shock prickles the back of her neck, and the gaming machines whir to life with his quiet voice.]

[Though she's pacing, wringing her hands nervously.]

Is there anything I should get? Are they worried? Should I see if I can help them feel better, or—I don't know.

[On that ominous note, the lights all flicker and cut. On a count of one, two, three, four, five, like a long exhale, the machines power back up at once, very slowly.]

we cant trust souda to be our friend
pick someone else
someone who wont go along with the wrong crowd

[Her ears flatten against her head for a moment, but saying "we can't trust souda" doesn't sit well with her, because she does trust him, absolutely and unequivocally with how much he's supported her the past few months.]

Elias, I'm not gonna let you tell me who to trust and who not to. Especially if it's Souda. [She didn't even know he was involved. She trusts Elias when he says that much at least.] Like, I know that's not gonna make you happy to hear, but—I need to talk to him first.

[fourthmade]

[The lights flicker fiercely, Elias's reluctance made plain. A chill crosses the room, the air vents hissing a dry, cold draft. He doesn't like that answer very much! He's slow to concede.]

Elias slips away with the chill, leaving Makoto to her solitude.]

[She huffs, because no shit, friends don't usually lob bombs at each other, but she's determined to get to the bottom of this and she doesn't quite enjoy the idea of Elias trying to make her change her mind.

Because she thinks there's more to it than just "well, he wanted to take out Elias".

So she isn't left in her solitude for long as she leaves.]
