This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[The screen lights up a soothing shade of blue. A pixelated glowing orb, a rough facsimile of Earth without any recognizable continents except for one northern peninsula, spins slowly on its axis. Static crackles into Jiang Cheng's simulacrum digits, a surge of warmth and energy pressing against the pads of his palms.]

[The globe's disparate, darkened continents light up, one-by-one, as electricity courses through Elias's pixelated world. The fog and the cracked dust clears away. Slowly, the land blips into a highlighted metropolis, cities and people spreading all across the drab and ruined scape.]

[ Jiang Cheng sucks in deep "breaths" his robotic body doesn't need, trying to force his mind back on the conversation, to ignore the prickle of static, the surge of energy that vaguely reminds him of feeding for lack of a better frame of reference. It is not the Fourth God's fault, he reminds himself, it makes sense that a technological god would reach out to him like this, it is just Jiang Cheng who still fears and hates this body he doesn't understand.

And yet for all that horror, it only intensifies the hope aroused by the Fourth God's words. No balance. It is the sweetest promise he could be made, especially in sync with this reminder of his own monstrous nature. ]

I understand yo. I don't want balance. I want her dead and all her influence gone. For myself, and for all who have died and suffered. She is a blight upon this land, and she must be eradicated as such.

You speak of working together. The other question I came to ask you is what you expect of those who pledge themselves to you. Your priests told me they are your friends, not your servants. You speak of working together. What are your followers to you? I follow orders and I am loyal, but I won't be blindly obedient again. It didn't end well for me before, and I don't want to become that person again.

[ Together... It would be so nice to have a together again, beyond the tiny bubble he shares with his husband.
