This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

OOC note: As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

What does it mean to live? What do lives mean to you?

thats a big question alisae people dont ask questions like that when theyre happy are you unhappy with your life or lives since youre lucky and get a few here before you start to lose yourself humans arent that lucky which is something i always remember when im talking to humans and monsters

Of course I'm not happy. However, who is happy here? I doubt even those that follow the Fog are entirely happy. However, suffering is part of our journey through life. In spite of that, we still find our way forward even during the darkest moments.

However, I asked the question of you. What does it mean to live? I know your situation doesn't quite allow you to live in a way that's typical of most people, but you're still alive now. Therefore, what does that mean to you?

Is all of this worth it?

everything thats alive wants to stay alive cells fight for their own existence try biting down on your own pinky even though your teeth could tear it off easily you cant can you your mind wont let you its the same for me and for the humans the fog makes you eat but i dont have to live on other lives to keep existing so maybe its me whos lucky

Do you think all of this is worth it, though?
A war, scorning those that do something that may have a hand of the fog in it, chasing away the so-called "friends" that you want to bring in?
Those that follow the Fog are simply trying to do the same thing in the end, aren't they? They want to survive, and in some cases, she was the one who brought them back from an untimely end.
Do you fault them for choosing someone other than yourself?
What happens when everything is said and done?

theyre not my so called friends they are my friends :) ill be friends with anybody as long as they dont like the fog and what she does the things that have the hand of the fog in it theyre dangerous theyre scary doesnt it make sense to stop those things if you can it doesnt make sense to pretend theyre not what they are murder and spreading fear those that follow the fog killed a lot of people in haftesal those people didnt mean to hurt the new monsters the fogs interference made the simulation freeze and restart not the scientists they didnt even fight back as they were killed thats not monsters just trying to live and i fault them for that ask a human what it means to live when they shut their doors early on fog days and stay home from school ask a human if they fault someone for choosing the fog ask a human if a war against her is worth it ask a human if someone who follows the fog is the same as them
