This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[A small robot on wheels beep bleep boops to Beat's side. It carries a tray with a bottle of sparkling grape juice, champagne flutes, and a pair of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies. In its free claw-shaped hand it holds out a damp, steaming towel. You know, for Beat to press on his face. That sort of thing calms down grown almost-adults, right?]

[You know what? Beat will take that towel and drop his face into it. Then muffle AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA into it cause ow hot. But he won't come up until his face is cherry red and some of the anger is gone and he feels like he can breathe. He will take a cookie too, staring down at it.]

We gotta do somethin' to stop this. She encourages everyone to be monsters, to fight an' hate an' turn on each other fer Power. She calls it Freedom but fuck her, that ain't freedom. It's jus' another pair of rules cause if you break them, she gets pissed.

... Huh, we spoke wid the Scientist dudes, they lent us the Fog vacuums. We gonna use 'em to suck her up some. Heh, keep an eye out fer that yo, I think you'll like it. But if they got more...

[He's silent for a moment as he thinks, nibbling lightly on the cookie, frowning off into the arcade. His tail comes up and curls around the bot a little. Like a small hug. It's not Elias but it will do.]

Elias... do you know if She can die? Can we kill her? She killed her siblin's right? The Day an' Night dude? [A memory of a conversation with Robotnik] HEY! The giant rottin' moose thing in the forest! Weren't that somethin' to do wid onna them? The Night? You know if that thing still wanderin' 'round? Maybe it's got info on how to stop her...

[Elias is quiet for a time, the robot-waiter filling the silence with soft, encouraging beeps. It pats Beat on the knee, mimicing the gestures of a friend. The robot's mouth-screen blips, and a text-to-speech robo-voice emits an apologetic,]

ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴋᴇ ғʀɪᴇs ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴛʜᴀᴛ﹖

[Elias chimes in after the robot's feeble attempt at comfort.]

[He absolutely would like fries you absolutely funky little robot. He listens to Elias, frowning hard, thoughtful. The moose might attack him but, if it has information. Answers. It's worth the risk. He smiles and shakes his head.]

Don't apologize, yo. You done all you could fer us, now we gotta pick it up too. That's what friends do. We give each other power an' strength. An' maybe someday we'll finally overpower her shit.

[He knows Elias has issues talking for too long so he'll wrap it up, nodding.]

Decided, brotha. Gonna talk wid the Scientists an' see what else they might have to stop the bitch. Ima look fer Moose too. I know it might attack me but, if I can get any info out of it on how to stop her... even if it's just imprison her or depower her or somethin', then it'll be worth it.

[Climbing to his feet, he turns and reaches out to touch the wall, tilting his head back to look up at the mural.]

I got yer back, yo. We'll stop her. One way or another she's gonna go down. Take care a yerself, aight? Don't push yerself too hard or nothin'. Josh an' I got some shit planned that might help boost ya up, so jus' take it easy 'til then. I'll get back to you about Moose if I find him, aight?

[A frown blinks on the robot's mouth screen.]

[It even smells like fries, actually, except when a little slot opens up in the robot's chest, it's only fake plastic fries. Weird. At least he's trying his darnedest in a way Beat might find very familiar whenever he checks out the Mall of Bavania after April 4th. He'll stay and continue to offer fries long after Elias falls silent until Beat specifically dismisses him.]
