This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[he pours himself a shot of the coffee liqueur with slightly shaking hands as he reads, and sips at it, deigning to alternate liqueur with the cookie so he doesn't get buzzed. he has science to do, after all, red and blue pills' side effects to cure.]

Keep him? Do you mean he's back in his dimension somehow? ... I suppose that's for the best. He was very worried about what would happen to it while he was gone.

As for your power: don't worry. I'm working on some medicines to help everyone, and once they start giving positive feedback and realizing what good it does, I'll tell them you were the one who helped me make it all possible. We'll get you more help.

I'm glad he's home safely. That's good. A boy his age should be with his family, be able to live his own life - not be trapped here.

[he finishes off the drink and looks down at the rest of the cookie in his hand pensively before looking up to see the rest of Elias' message. Norman grins, and he feels like he can't quite type fast enough]

That's exactly what I've been thinking: that the more we help advance science here, the more people will realize they have more power and agency than they think they do. It's just a matter of figuring out what to do first, what would be of the best benefit. And I think medicine would be a big first step. People's fears, their old pains, their anger, that's what makes the monstrous part of us worse. That's what she feeds on. And if we can replicate the drugs that help treat those things ... she'll have less to use against us.
