This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

Speak, he hears you.

OOC note:  As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[No answer comes, but Reira has a very pleasant sleep that night, comforted by the 4th's presence and the holiday cheer outside. The lights may even dim as not to disturb him.

When he wakes, he'll find the gift and flowers gone, and a little robot holding an Etch-A-Sketch in its roboarms sitting in their place. Next to it is a simple, ordinary children's notepad and pencil.

The etch-a-sketch reads:]

[The robot, suffice to say, is given a very loud 'thank you' and 'I will, I promise' when the child wakes next morning. From there, it's not long before at least a few pages are written and more importantly drawn in, strange childish drawings of sawfinned fish and 'eleseals' covering the first two pages so that they can chatter on about the details they forgot the first time.

From there, there isn't much out of the ordinary to talk about. Not until the week where everyone gets wired in, at least.

Reira's notebook is filled with bits and pieces he's deemed 'not too sensitive' from the places they traveled and saw-but before they start on THOSE stories, there is something more important to get out of the way.]

Thank you, [they announce loudly, with a wide smile. He had said 'this is for just in case'-just in case he needed help against the fog, perhaps? Or something else? Either way-] ...I was able to help lots of people, I think. Because I was in there, and I was able to see what was wrong-is that what you see all the time?

[It was a little lonely, sometimes. But only sometimes, he thinks, thinking of 'Eli' from the one dream.] ...A lot of people seem mad but...

I'm not mad, you should know that! I wanted to say thank you-because of that, I was able to do a lot, in ways I couldn't for them before!

[And he'll tell him all about how, from there, of course.

He's written as much as he remembers down.]

[The radio nearby crackles to life almost immediately after Reira finishes talking. Elias' sounds cheery.]

I'm glad you understand, Reira. Thank you for helping me help them.

Yeah..! [And he spares no detail-he speaks about his experience with Liquid's dream, in helping the boy to fend off a man who would have taken their child-self away. It was the easiest time he had-and perhaps they'll be able to trust the other more. (It's good for friends of the 4th to trust each other after all)

There were two dreams that were sort of similar too-one was a lonely mansion, where two dogs led him to a Library; he spoke to them about how the dreamer had things in their past that they didn't like...but they ignored some of that. 'It seems like a bad idea-the man in the dream agreed, but I don't think I made the one dreaming agree too much. I tried to make things clean though.'

It was a library that he entered soon after that too-where he drained a growing puddle, and doused a raging fire. He put old memories to rest-not forgotten, but not feared. And as well-'And I gave him my goggles! So that he can see through things instead of being scared.'

He speaks of the others, the 'neutral' dreams as well-of Sora's candycovered factory and trap pit, and the traumas he faced down inside with his powers. 'Turning into foam was able to help with a lot of traps in there', he notes, before wondering about the cute 'furnimal' toys living above the candy, and the demonic 'des-toys' protecting them. He'd turned on that factory to make more of those...he's pretty sure it means more friends. But what worries him most is that trauma far, far in the center-the sight of the monstrous 'Yuri', and all of the curses and taunts he threw to a 'living' Sora. The thick fog, and the fear in the air...even he felt frightened, for a moment.

Until he stopped them.

Tsukikage's mind was the worst however, and he voices a bit of worry-] I don't think I could fix everything for Tsukikage...he was hurting himself in a lot of places there, and even the niisama I saw in that dream said I couldn't go back, just forward. I think others helped him too, but...

[Well. There is only a sigh.] ...Thank you for letting me protect him here. He's really strong-but he still needs to learn how to have fun and take help when he needs it..! Fighting things alone all the time just gets people hurt even more...

I'm trying to tell everyone angry that you were just helping too-not all of them believe me, but Sora's not as angry any more, I think, so maybe I can get them to listen...

[Elias doesn't interrupt Reira's story, but the steady hum of the radio in the background lets him know that he's listening. At times in the story the pitch drops to something deeper. More angry? It's hard to tell. When Reira does finish and Elias responds there's no trace of negative emotion.]

It isn't good to fight alone.
Tsukikage is lucky to have someone as dependable as you.
I am too.
You believed me even when my other friends were angry.
It makes me happy you trust me that much.

[soft_focus]

[They're pleased to hear that-maybe a bit proud, albeit more worried about the 'other friends'.] ...They'll realize it was okay, I think. ...They just have to think about it more, probably. Until they realize what happened because of it.

[And they pause, before quietly adding-] ...Friends are supposed to trust friends-especially best friends.
