This is a place to send your prayers to the Fourth god. He may not always respond, or he may respond in ways you don’t expect, but he is always listening.

OOC note: As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread.It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[Depending on the route Reira, Sora, and Vriska take, they will find one of the following, which the Fourth God will immediately approve:]

[If they ask people, and are persistent enough, one stressed family will hand over a bowl of shiny white metal. Though it's carved in swirling patterns, it's oddly reminiscent of Ryslig's moon.]

[If instead they search the ruins of old Rota, they will eventually find a rusted metal candleholder with the old, waxy remnants of a candle.]

[After a bit of a look over her Party Members, Reira rather swiftly decides that it's probably a good idea to not make the poor people of Rota deal with....Them. Vriska and Sora are both fairly keen on searching the ruins as it is, so they do just that.

The Candleholder is found!]

[The candle was added to your inventory! The fourth god approves, humming in Reira's head with certainty that this will stop the massive surge of power laying waste to the land.

As a note, as they leave the ruins, a particular artifact may catch their eye. It's a worn painting, dingy and molding, and it sits rotting in a pile of miscellaneous rubble. Despite the wear and tear, it clearly depicts a woman surrounded by night god imagery and other symbolism--nightshade, stars, the moon, and such. But strangely enough, she also has some monstrous features. Demonic wings, claws, a tail. . .

Unfortunately, her face is shrouded in mystery, the fabric torn away.

Disturbing the piece would only make it crumple and decay more, so all they will get is as quick glance. All the better, since there's a peninsula that needs saving right now.

Time to head back to the Silent Forest and meet up with Nagisa.]
